The Draper Chemical Society is the NYU undergraduate chemistry club. Our goal is to further the understanding of the Chemical Sciences as a scientific discipline and its role in society at large. We are a community of chemistry majors as well as a diverse group of science enthusiasts who seek to understand the latest advances in chemistry. As a student organization, we provide presentations by distinguished faculty, further undergraduate research opportunities and create a learning environment in which discussions are encouraged. As a community, we maintain ties with alumni through our Chemistry Alumni Network and engage in community service in NYC public schools and Enrichment Programs to encourage understanding of the sciences among high school students.
